It’s always important to hold onto your top stars, so former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was a must for WWE.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Jinder has signed a multi-year deal with the company, with inital reports suggesting it is a 5-year contract.
Jinder mostly finds himself part of the 24/7 Championship mob, and he even held the belt twice, pinning current champion R-Truth on both a golf course and an airport runway.
Despite winning the WWE Championship back in 2017, Mahal has slowly dropped down the card, managing only a single brief United States title run since.
While he isn’t the biggest name, WWE are pretty desperate to sign anyone who will willingly stay, and for Jinder Mahal, being offered a guaranteed job for the next five years with his limited ability and charisma is something he could hardly turn down.
