PWInsider is reporting that former WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison has re-signed with the promotion, several years after leaving.
During his first run with the company, Morrison held the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the WWE version of the ECW title and had several WWE Tag Team title reigns with Joey Mercury.
Since he left WWE in 2011, Morrison has had stints in Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo, and most recently in Impact as Johnny Impact. Johnny WWE is now 39, but can still go in the ring as impressively as ever.
There is no news on when he will actually make his return, but with the upcoming draft and SmackDown heading to FOX, you can expect it to happen pretty soon.
