If you don’t want to know the potential major spoiler for this weekend’s Survivor Series, why did you click this link? But seriously, don’t scroll any further if you don’t want to know.
The current Survivor Series card is dominated by multi-person, non-title matches between champions of Raw, SmackDown and NXT, as well as the traditional elimination matches.
There are a few exceptions however, as three title matches will still be taking place, with Rey Mysterio challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, The Fiend defending his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan, and Adam Cole defending his NXT Championship against either Pete Dunne, Killian Dain or Damian Priest.
According to the latest reports from cagesideseats, Mysterio, Bryan and the TBC NXT star will all be coming away from the show empty handed, as no title changes are expected to take place.
The report is that the current title feuds are expected to run through until at least Royal Rumble and perhaps even further, so get used to seeing Daniel Bryan getting attacked from behind at random times on SmackDown.
Both Lesnar and Wyatt are very new champions, so it would be a huge shock if one of them was the drop their titles, and as Cole and his challenger will have had no build to their match, it would be equally shocking if he was to drop the belt.
Anyway, I’m off to change my predictions…
