It’s blatantly clear that the level of morale backstage in WWE isn’t as high as it has been in the past, with Bryan Alvarez reporting that it was at its lowest point ever.
Just this year, we’ve seen Dean Ambrose, Tye Dillinger and TJP leave, and Sasha Banks, The Revival, Mike and Maria Kanellis and Luke Harper (and who knows who else) request their release.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have also indicated that they have no intention of signing a contract extension with WWE once their contracts expire later this year.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, he understand that several WWE stars are now just waiting for their contracts to expire so that they can leave.
“A lot of people are counting the days.”
It seems that the best thing to do for want-away stars is just to keep their heads down and wait for their contracts to expire without making a fuss.
