Several weeks ago, NXT star Matt Riddle revealed that he and Goldberg had somewhat of a hostile interaction backstage at WWE SummerSlam.
According to Riddle, Goldberg was unhappy that he was repeatedly being called ‘bro’ by the former UFC star. This comes after the pair had been rather unkind to each other on social media for several months this year.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Matt Riddle and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg actually had a conversation after SummerSlam where they came to an agreement of sorts:
“One source close to the situation told us that Matt Riddle and Goldberg did have a conversation that followed Summerslam, and that the two decided to “agree to disagree.”
This comes after it was suspected that Riddle might have landed himself in hot water with many of the WWE Performance Center signees after former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa told him to go and f*** himself.
