Following the NXT TakeOver: WarGames show just over a week ago, SmackDown announcer seemingly called out NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo on Twitter for not allowing his fellow commentators to speak.
As someone with a history of mental health issues, the incident left Mauro in a bad place. He missed not only the Survivor Series pay-per-view, but also last week’s episode of NXT.
However, Mauro is said to be in a much better place now, and a report has emerged suggesting that the commentator was “real adamant” about returning to TV on tomorrow night’s episode of NXT.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer had the following to say on the matter:
“Yeah, he’s doing better. He was real adamant that he wants to get back on Wednesday so he wants to get back into the routine and not take another week off. I think he’s super excited about just getting back to normal, you know the normal thing.”
It is great to hear that Mauro is now in a much better place following Corey Graves’ tweet. Mauro is one of the most well-respected commentators in WWE history, so it will be great to hear him on commentary again tomorrow night.
