According to reports, AEW star MJF and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley were supposed to be involved in somewhat of a spot together at the Starrcast III fan convention.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that the plan at one point was to have Mick Foley on stage with MJF during his live show at Starrcast. However, AEW higher-ups encountered a problem and plans subsequently changed.
“Mick Foley was pitched a spot for the MJF stage show, but wasn’t sure how they’d get out of it without one of them looking bad.”
Instead, MJF did his undoubtedly very entertaining stage show before All Out without the involvement of the former WWE Champion.
There is no word on what the plans were for the two on stage. Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for potentially more information on the matter.
This comes after MJF seemingly revealed that AEW had headshots taken for all their stars for a potential video game or action figures.
