WWE made company history last year by holding its first ever all-female PPV, WWE Evolution. I say company history as all-female shows are pretty common everywhere else so it wasn’t that impressive.
It was assumed that this would become an annual show given how much WWE cares about PR (unless it involves Saudi Arabia), but it looks like we assumed too soon.
According to Dave Meltzer, there is nothing in the WWE schedule that suggests another show is on the horizon.
Not on schedule at this moment. https://t.co/zbr6hq6FSc

Many fans are speculating that this is because Ronda Rousey is currently not with the company and therefore WWE may struggle to sell tickets. But given that ticket sales for Stomping Grounds have been a total disaster, it doesn’t look like mixed gender PPVs are doing much better.
WWE will still be holding the third instalment of the Mae Young Classic later this year, and perhaps it thinks that is enough to show that it cares about women’s wrestling.
Having said that, Bayley and Alexa Bliss are currently feuding because Bayley blocked Alexa on Twitter, and Ember Moon is very angry because Sonya Deville made her drop her Nintendo Switch, so maybe we’re speaking too soon.
