It has been a while since NXT UK has run a show. Because of the pandemic, the promotion’s last show aired on April 2. Now, it looks like things may be about to pick up once again.
The Wrestling Movement has reported on Twitter that they have learned that the entire NXT UK roster is being tested for COVID-19 today. They also added that taping could be taking place soon.

The roster was hit hard by the Speaking Out movement in June as well. A number of stars were released or suspended following a series of accusations and reports later came out of meetings held to address the behavior. Additionally, we had reported that Triple H had told the roster to sit tight and wait for shows to resume.
We still do not know if these tests include the likes of Pete Dunne who was on the NXT roster but has been unable to travel due to the pandemic. If shows start again, it will be interesting to see whether he will begin wrestling on NXT UK again.
WWE had been building towards a Finn Balor vs. WALTER match earlier this year before those plans were squashed by the pandemic.
