Since joining WWE in 2012, Renee Young has been one of the best backstage personalities in wrestling. Her personality and talent truly shined during her work on SmackDown as an interviewer and as the host of Talking Smack. Now, she is set to leave the company.
According to OutKick, Renee Young is expected to leave WWE in the near future. She will still be working SummerSlam weekend. There is no word on if this is her final date with the company:
Renee Young is expected to leave WWE, sources tell Outkick.
Young will still work SummerSlam this weekend.
Young is leaving on her own accord.
The report notes that while a move to AEW would make sense, Renee has several offers from outside of the wrestling world, so it doesn’t look like she’ll be out of work for too long:
Inevitably, rumors will swirl about AEW. Young’s husband, Jon Moxley, is the current AEW Champion. While it would make sense, Young also has offers outside of the wrestling industry, sources say. This includes her recent cookbook deal.
This report has since been corroborated by PWInsider:

Young’s husband, Jon Moxley, also left WWE left year. His departure was made quite public due to comments from himself and WWE. He now finds himself in All Elite Wrestling as their world champion. Many people will be speculating that this will be Young’s next destination, however, she will have more than enough options as to what she can do next.
