It was reported late last year that Raw star Riddle had agreed to extend his stay with WWE after signing a multi-year deal. The former NXT star’s contract was originally believed to be up this summer.
However, it seems like this might not have been completely factual, as Bryan Alvarez stated on Wrestling Observer Live that he is under the impression that Riddle HAS NOT re-signed with WWE:
“Remember when they offered him a new deal? I don’t think he’s signed yet. Just want to throw that out there.”
This comes after Riddle was tapped out by Bobby Lashley in a United States Championship bout on Raw this week, a match that is also being rumoured to take place at the Royal Rumble later this month.
