UPDATE – WWE has dropped some huge teases that Sasha Banks and Naomi are set to return, which you can read here.
With Vince McMahon retiring from WWE, and Triple H taking over as the EVP of Talent Relations and head of creative, many have wondered about potential names returning to WWE.
Two names in particular that have been speculated about are Sasha Banks and Naomi, who haven’t been seen on WWE television since they walked out on the May 16 episode of Raw.
However, the company was reportedly looking to reconcile with the pair with McMahon out of the picture, and that agreement may have been reached.
Per a report from WrestlingNews.co, an agreement has been reached for Sasha and Naomi to return to the company, with the belief backstage being that we could see them return on tonight’s show, or in the near future as part of the new regime.
On today’s Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez addressed the report by saying a source has confirmed that Banks and Naomi have reached an agreement to return.
Alvarez said:
“I am not 100 percent confirming this, but since everybody is asking about it, I do have one source who is saying that, ‘Yes, Sasha and Naomi have made a deal to return’. So we’ll know more I’m sure within two hours. But I’ll just say I think it’s true. I’m pretty sure. But I can’t say 100 percent.”
There has been conflicting reports about the two’s status in the company over the past few months.
