Report: Seth Rollins Leaving WWE TV After Survivor Series

WWE star Seth Rollins has been in a feud with the Mysterio family for what feels like 14 years, but it seems it will eventually come to an end (briefly) at next weekend’s Survivor Series, as the Messiah is expected to take time away from TV after the show.

This is not unexpected, as Rollins is set to welcome his first child into the world, with fiancée and former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch expected to give birth at some point in December as reported by Ringside News.

Becky announced her pregnancy the night after Money in the Bank 2020, where she relinquished her championship following an emotional promo.

It isn’t known how long Rollins will be off TV for, especially as pregnant women and newborn babies fall into the “vulnerable people” category in the COVID-19 pandemic. Roman Reigns took several months off earlier this year, which was in part due to the fact his wife was expecting twins.

Rollins is still expected to feud with the Mysterio family until January, so it could well be that he takes a few weeks off now, and then returns to finish the feud before taking more time off in 2021. It is also unknown if and when Becky Lynch will be making her return.

As the child’s father is the Messiah, it is unknown whether this baby will be the next saviour of humankind, but we will keep you updated.
