With the show now under two hours away from airing, WWE NXT just finished taping and it’s being reported that a number of changes had to be made.
Dave Meltzer tweeted: “Tonight’s NXT show just finished taping. Several changes had to be made”.
As of now it’s unknown what these changes are or why they were made. This is just speculation but it is possible it could be due to a reported recent COVID-19 outbreak.
AEW Dynamite has undergone some big changes tonight as Lance Archer has tested positive for the virus and now Jon Moxley will defend the World Title against Eddie Kingston.
WWE is advertising the following for tonight’s show:
- Kushida vs Cameron Grimes vs Bronson Reed vs Kyle O’Reilly vs Timothy Thatcher – #1 contender Gauntlet Eliminator match
- Women’s #1 contender Battle Royal
- Jake Atlas vs. Tommaso Ciampa
WrestleTalk.com will provide live coverage for NXT tonight and we’ll keep you updated with any further news regarding these apparent changes.
