Shawn Spears is set to get a manager on AEW programming, according to a report from Fightful.
The report states that this will come to light on this week’s episode of “Road To”. It is currently unknown who the manager will be, and it is noted that they might not actually be revealed in the episode.
Spears, formerly Tye Dillinger in WWE, has taken on the nickname of the ‘Chairman’ after smashing Cody in the head with a steel chair after his match with Darby Allin at Fyter Fest, and a match between the two will likely take place at August 31’s All Out.
Spears most recently teamed with MJF and Sammy Guevara to defeat Jimmy Havoc, Joey Janela and Darby Allin at Fight for the Fallen, although there was clear tension between he and MJF.
