A planned championship match for WWE Money in the Bank, which is currently scheduled for Sunday, May 10, has reportedly been revealed.
That match concerns the Raw Tag Team Championship as Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the Street Profits will defend against the Viking Raiders.
On last night’s Raw, Ivar and Erik picked up a win over the new team of Ricochet and Cedric Alexander, a result which actually caught some people off guard as it was thought WWE would want to build the new team up.
As noted, the reason for this is because the Vikings are going to be the Profits’ next challengers.
Meltzer said:
“The Viking Raiders are making motions for the belts against the Street Profits, which the Street Profits addressed, and they are wrestling each other on the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.”
The Profits did a backstage segment with new call-up, Ford’s wife, Bianca Belair, who basically told them to stop playing around and get serious because they’ve never beaten the Vikings before.
