Report: Tessa Blanchard Close To Signing With AEW

It’s being reported that Tessa Blanchard and her husband Daga are in talks with AEW and close to signing a deal with the promotion.

According to SEScoops, a source says it’s “all but a formality” that they’ll sign and discussions have been going on for over a month.

Many believed AEW would stay away from Tessa Blanchard given some controversies in her past, but if this report is to be believed, it could be much the opposite.

The site reports that “AEW officials have discussed the idea of acknowledging Tessa Blanchard’s prior ‘issues’ on television and presenting her with a redemption storyline of sorts”.

Daga recently vacated the AAA Latin American Championship and the Wrestling Observer reported he’s close to signing with a US promotion.
