Report: The Revival Still Hasn’t Re-Signed With WWE

When the Revival defeated The New Day at Clash of Champions, there was a lot of speculation that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder had re-signed with WWE, which is why they were given the belts.

However, according to Fightful Select, neither Dash or Dawson had re-signed before Clash of Champions, and there are no more recent reports to suggest they have done so now.

The report is that WWE has attempted to make more offers to keep them with the company, but neither man has put pen to paper.

It was widely reported earlier this year that the two men had major issues regarding the booking of the tag division, and that they were unhappy with their positions in WWE.

Unusually, since airing their grievances, they have won the Raw Tag Team Championships twice, and the Smackdown Tag Team Championships once.

It is thought that their current deals run out in the Spring, but that Dash Wilder’s contract may expire a few months after Dawson’s after his contract was frozen while he was injured.

One of the reasons for their continued success is reportedly that the two men are consummate professionals and simply do exactly what they’re told by the writing team. They’re keeping everyone happy, so hopefully their eventual releases will be friendly.
