Report: The Rock Wants WWE Smackdown Segment With Becky Lynch

Earlier on in the week,  The Rock confirmed that he will be making his WWE return on the debut episode of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX.

The decision to announce the return ahead of time worked very well for WWE, as tickets for the event skyrocketed following Rock’s announcement.

There is currently no word on what The Rock will be doing on the show, but I would not be surprised to see the show open with The Rock’s iconic entrance music.

However, Tom Colohue is reporting that the People’s Champion actually wants a segment with “The Man” Becky Lynch.

A #WWE source told me today that The Rock is going to be very disappointed if he doesn't get the chance to share a ring with Becky Lynch on #SmackDown this Friday.

Colohue says that his source in WWE has said that “The Rock will be “very disappointed” if he isn’t involved in a segment with Becky Lynch on Friday night’s show.

Lynch is already slated to appear on the show, teaming with Charlotte Flair to take on Sasha Banks and Bayley.

A segment between The Rock and Becky Lynch would be pretty special, and something like this could help WWE take Lynch back to the heights she was at before WrestleMania 36.
