On this past week’s episode of AEW: Dynamite, The Young Bucks’ parents made their debut, but unfortunately for Papa Buck, the evening didn’t quite go to plan.
Nick and Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks had rushed to the ring in aid of Brandon Cutler, who was being beaten up by several members of the Inner Circle. Unfortunately for them, it was all a diversion, allowing Chris Jericho and MJF to attack Papa Buck backstage, busting him open and smearing his bloody head on pictures of the Bucks.
While it was clear from the footage that the blood was fake, it appears that Papa Buck loves being in pain just as much as his two sons, because Bryan Alvarez is reporting he wanted to be legitimately cut open instead of using fake blood.
Unfortunately for him, he was overruled, because I would imagine there are a number of health and safety protocols that would stop you from cutting open a civilian on live television.
If you would like to see blood in AEW, then I would recommend tuning into the exploding barbed-wire death match between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley next week, because there’s going to be plenty.
