Following last night’s Clash of Champions show, WWE’s next pay-per-view is Hell in a Cell coming our way on October 6 from Sacramento.
Via the Wrestling Observer, we’ve learned three matches currently planned, including two matches actually set to be contested inside the Hell in a Cell structure itself.
The first of those is a Universal Title match between Seth Rollins – who retained against Braun Strowman last night – and the Fiend. This was actually advertised a while ago by the Golden 1 Center which will host the event.
The Fiend appeared following Rollins’ win last night to close the show choking him out on the stage.
The other Hell in a Cell match planned is Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch again defending against Sasha Banks.
Lynch got herself disqualified last night, and obviously the idea would be that can’t happen inside Hell in a Cell so they can beat each other up however they feel like.
And thirdly, a planned match for the show that isn’t set for inside the cell is a tag match pitting Erick Rowan and Luke Harper against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.
The word is that Harper’s return last night – which saw him help former Wyatt Family member and Bludgeon Brother Rowan defeat Reigns in a no DQ match – was a late decision made because Rowan needed a partner here.
However, given the nature of how this program has played out so far, don’t be surprised if that one changes between now and October 6.
