It was announced over the weekend that the first-ever WWE Superstar Spectacle will be taking place later this month (January 26), with the show airing on the Sony Ten 1 and Sony Ten 3 channels in India.
SK Wrestling now has some additional details on what WWE has in store for the Superstar Spectacle, including some details about top main roster talent potentially being involved in the show:
While our sources maintain that the names of the RAW and SmackDown Superstars could change at any moment, some of the names that are being considered are Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, The New Day, Bayley, and Rey Mysterio.
The tapings will reportedly be taking place at the WWE Thunderdome, so it certainly isn’t outside the realms of possibility that WWE will ask some of the aforementioned top main roster talent to come to the shows and take part.
The site is also reporting that former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and some of the Indian talent already on the company’s books are expected to be part of the tapings later this month:
In addition to the RAW and SmackDown stars and Indian talents such as Jinder Mahal, Kavita Devi, and Indus Sher, WWE Superstar Spectacle is also likely to have a prominent WWE legend present. Gurvinder Singh, Laxmi Rajpoot, and Sukhwinder Grewal, three men who were shortlisted when WWE conducted tryouts in India last year, could also feature on Superstar Spectacle.
