It’s being reported that former Ring of Honor (ROH) World Champion Dalton Castle is now a free agent and is no longer under contract with the promotion.
As per Wrestling Inc, ROH has offered Castle a “good” new deal which he is considering, but he wants to wait and see what other offers he receives.
Castle had been with the promotion since 2013 and won the World Championship in December 2017 from Cody Rhodes at Final Battle, reigning for 197 days before losing it to Jay Lethal the following June.
His last match aired on Christmas Day as he was on the losing side of a 10-man tag team match.
There’s no word on any interest in Castle from other companies as of yet, but you’d have to imagine he’s at least on the radar of the likes of WWE and AEW.
