With WWE SmackDown Live moving to Friday nights, there has been plenty of rumour and talk about what will happen to the commentary teams.
It has been widely reported that each WWE show will have a separate team, meaning Corey Graves will not be on both Raw and SmackDown Live going forward.
It has also meant that Nigel McGuinness has been replaced on 205 Live by NXT star Dio Maddin to free him up to call NXT on Wednesday nights.
Twitter page WrestleVotes, which has built an excellent reputation for breaking backstage news, is reporting that we could soon see the return of a two-person commentary team on Raw and SmackDown Live.
Hearing that significant changes are coming to the commentary teams once the SD to FOX move happens in a few weeks. All shows will be impacted, including RAW. A source has said the return of the 2 man booth is coming.

If this is the case, then you have to start to wonder who will stay and who will go.
Raw is pretty straightforward you would think, as it seems that Renee Young will be hosting WWE’s FS1 show, allowing for a two-man team of Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
Moving on logically from that, you would think that the SmackDown Live team would consist of Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton. However, if WrestleVotes is to be believed, significant changes are coming, meaning we could see a change of personnel.
