Report: WrestleMania Tickets Generated $6.2 Million For WWE

It’s lucky WWE made those crucial budget cuts last week when they released 9 main roster stars, including Samoa Joe, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, because they only made $6.2 million from WrestleMania tickets.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics is reporting that 18,328 people attended Night One of the show while Night Two saw 18,924 attend for a combined attendance of 37,252 fans across both nights.

Paid ticket sales were slightly higher, with 20,172 ticket sales for the first night and 20,634 tickets sold for the second night.

WWE announced that 25,000 tickets were available for both nights, so it’s far from a sellout for both nights.

WWE announced an attendance of 25,675 for both nights, so either they’re lying as usual about WrestleMania attendances, or they gave out a lot of free tickets to fill out the stadium.
