Report: WWE Considering Postponing Big Feud Until Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble this year saw Daniel Bryan challenge The Fiend Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship in a Strap Match, and it seems like we may also see Bryan challenge for the title at this year’s show.

Speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer has noted that WWE is considering postponing the planned Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan feud until the Royal Rumble next year, instead of TLC next month.

At this time, it is unclear why WWE is reportedly considering postponing the feud between Roman and Bryan for a month. It was previously reported that they’d begin feuding after Survivor Series.

This also puts to bed any rumours that WWE is going to book a feud between Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan over the coming weeks. WWE seemed to tease that the two workers could be feuding on SmackDown last week.

For any potential updates on why the change was made, and what WWE now has in store for Roman Reigns at TLC next month, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.

Speaking of TLC, it has emerged that WWE has some rather surprising plans for Drew McIntyre and the WWE Championship at the show, which you can find out more about by clicking here.
