WWE is reportedly considering digital inductions for some individuals at this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
The 2022 Hall of Fame ceremony will air on April 1, the day before the first night of WrestleMania 38.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that there has been talk within WWE of doing some of the inductions digitally, rather than physically at the ceremony. The inductions of the two stars currently announced for the Class of 2022, The Undertaker and Vader, are both expected to get grand treatments.
Meltzer noted:
“I’ve heard that they may announce this class. It’ll happen, but it will be like digital inductions, maybe, in some of the cases, as opposed to whatever it is. Undertaker’s going to get the big grand treatment. I would presume Vader probably will, he was a really big star. A lot of the other guys, there’s been talk of, you know, again, with 90 minutes, not even doing them as part of that ceremony, but just doing it digitally.”
