Report: WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn ‘Didn’t Get’ Billie Kay

Billie Kay was among the names released by WWE yesterday, and some news has now emerged regarding her being let go.

As reported by Fightful Select, Kay’s release came as a surprise to many backstage, much like it did to the fans.

This was because she was used as recently as WrestleMania this past Sunday and was “loved in the locker room”, as was Peyton Royce.

However, the report notes that WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn “didn’t get” Billie Kay and had verbalized that he thought she had a ceiling as to how far she could go.

It is not known whether this actually contributed to her being released, but Dunn is one of the few people Vince McMahon will sometimes listen to and he has a job for life.
