Over the last two weeks on Smackdown, Buddy Murphy has had excellent showings in matches with Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, even pinning the latter.
Wrestling fans and critics alike are happy that the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion is getting the chance to shine on Smackdown after doing very little in the four months after his main roster call-up.
It appears that we might be seeing a lot more of Buddy Murphy on WWE TV in the coming weeks.
According to Fightful Select, many WWE officials have been pleasantly surprised by Buddy Murphy in the last few weeks:
“[People were] surprised at how big he looked in the ring.”
Murphy certainly possesses more than just an impressive physique. The past few weeks have proved that Buddy is one of the most exciting in-ring talents on WWE’s roster.
While nothing has been confirmed with regards to a Buddy Murphy push, the fact that he has impressed many backstage higher-ups will certainly work in his favour.
