Over the past week, it has been reported that Sasha Banks tried to quit WWE after a ‘locker-room strop’ when she was told she and Bayley would be dropping the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships to The IIconics at WrestleMania. This was followed up by reports that Banks was not backstage at Monday’s Raw.
However, both John Pollack and Dave Meltzer of POST Wrestling and Wrestling Observer respectively are reporting that Sasha Banks is scheduled to appear at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view in May.
Pollack is reporting that WWE management gave Banks some time off to think about her future, in the hope that she will change her mind about wanting to quit the company. Banks has not been seen on TV since WrestleMania 35 on April, 7. He also confirmed that whilst Bayley moved over to Smackdown in the Superstar Shake-Up, the plan is to have Banks stay on Raw if she does decide to stick with the company.
On that one, it is also being reported that one of the many reasons Banks is unhappy with WWE is because of their decision to split her and Bayley up. The duo worked hard to ensure the Women’s Tag Team Championships were created and hoped for a long run as a tandem.
