It has been a turbulent year for WWE star Jeff Hardy. From injuring his knee to being arrested twice, it hasn’t been the most fruitful time in his illustrious career.
In terms of his knee injury, Hardy is expected to be cleared at some point this month (November 2019), but that doesn’t mean there are plans to bring him back.
According to Fightful Select, while he may be cleared to wrestle, there are no plans for any kind of return to the ring due to the fact Jeff needs time away to deal with his personal issues.
“Despite being expected back in November, Jeff Hardy is not listed for a return as he’s taking care of his personal issues.”
It has been a difficult time to be a Jeff Hardy fan, but of course it will have been much harder for the man himself. We wish him all the best in his recovery and hope he is receiving all the help he needs until he is ready to return.
Jeff’s brother Matt seems to be preparing for a return to singles action, and has been teasing on his YouTube channel that this could be as “Broken” Matt Hardy once again.
Matt teased that he could well be leaving WWE once his contract expires next year, but as Jeff is injured, could WWE freeze his contract and force him to stay for longer?
We will keep you updated with any developments.
