Report: WWE Planning Babyface Turns For Top Stars

On the Wrestling Observer Radio episode following Raw last night, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE is booking The Fiend and Alexa Bliss as a babyfaces in their ongoing feud with former WWE Champion Randy Orton on the red brand.

Meltzer noted that Randy Orton is perceived to be a “master heel” by people high-up within WWE, and the plan is to have him help turn The Fiend and Alexa Bliss into top babyfaces on Monday Night Raw following their feud.

This comes after it was reported last week that WWE actually has Braun Strowman internally listed as a heel on Monday Night Raw, and plans to book him accordingly when he returns from his injury.

Speaking of reports, it was actually noted following the return of Roman Reigns in August that Bray Wyatt was going to be pushed as a babyface on SmackDown, so it seems like this is something WWE has been planning for a while.

We haven’t really seen The Fiend and Alexa Bliss presented as babyfaces on Raw since the draft, as it previously seemed that WWE was portraying the pair as tweeners who transcended the traditional face and heel divide.

It will be interesting to see how WWE changes the presentation of The Fiend and Alexa Bliss with a reported babyface turn on the horizon for the pair, if they do even change the presentation at all.
