It was reported over the weekend that despite a reported outbreak of COVID-19 at the Performance Center, Vince McMahon is determined to have paying fans at WWE shows starting next month.
However, a report has now emerged suggesting that those plans have been delayed, the reason for which has not yet been reported.
Sean Ross Sapp is reporting on Fightful Select that people within WWE were told that plans to have paying fans at shows in Lakeland have now been delayed:
“Fightful learned tonight that several within WWE were notified that the planned shows with audiences — specifically Lakeland, which we reported — had been delayed. No further details were provided. WWE had told us initially the information wasn’t correct, but was corroborated by several other outlets before the shows were delayed.”
There is no word on when WWE is hoping to have paying fans back at shows now, so make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest news on this developing story.
