Report: WWE Set To Make Huge Announcement Very Soon

Two weeks ago, WWE made the big announcement that NXT would be moving to the USA Network next month. The show live show will run for two hours every week.

With that announcement now in the books, it has been reported that WWE will be making yet another huge announcement in the near future.

Bryan Alvarez stated on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon’s company are set to make a big announcement next week.

Alvarez did not reveal that the big announcement was, but said it was on par with NXT moving to the USA Network:

“Well, this is what I can tell you. I don’t know what the news is. I know that something happened within WWE yesterday that the people that do know what it is were expecting the word to get out yesterday but it didn’t. The feeling is that it will get out probably sometime next week. I don’t know what it is. I know that the people that know feel like it’s a very big story so we’ll have to wait. It’s very similar to the NXT to USA story in the sense that, I heard about the news in the morning and I expected the news to be out by the end of the day and it wasn’t so we waited until the news broke. Something absolutely happened and we’re gonna know about it soon enough and that’s literally all I can tell you about it. But people there do believe that it’s a big story.”

Very little has been reported about what this “big story” is. However, with NXT moving to the USA Network, some have speculated that WWE could announce that is EVOLVE moving to the WWE Network, taking NXT’s Wednesday night slot.
