Braun Strowman headbutted Adam Pearce during the opening segment on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which is believed to have been the beginning of another heel run for the former Universal Champion.
Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Braun Strowman is going to be playing the role of a heel on WWE TV for the foreseeable future. This is likely for his planned feud with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
This comes just a few days after it was reported by PWInsider that Braun Strowman was internally listed by WWE as a babyface. However, it seems like his run as a good guy has come to an end.
At this time, it is unclear whether or not WWE has turned Braun into a babyface purely for his planned WWE Championship feud with Drew McIntyre, or if they just felt the “Monster Among Men” wasn’t suited to being a babyface.
As previously mentioned in this piece, WWE is reportedly planning on having Braun Strowman feud with Drew McIntrye for the WWE Championship at TLC next month. You can read more about that report by clicking here.
