Following his epic return to action at SummerSlam, many were disappointed to see that the Fiend made no kind of appearance on either Raw or SmackDown Live.
In fact, he wasn’t even mentioned on either Raw or SmackDown leading to the belief that the whole thing may have been dropped.
Thankfully, Pro-Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin is reporting that all is well in terms of the Fiend, and that he’s only being kept off TV to increase the idea of mystery around the character.
From what I’ve heard, Bray Wyatt wasn’t shown on WWE TV this week to follow up on “The Fiend” debuting at SummerSlam because they want his character to be special and for it to feel like you’ll never know when he’s going to strike next.

This is exactly the right way to book the fiend. He’s not special if he’s turning up every week and beating up No Way Jose.
Have him off TV for another month and then he can turn up and attack someone, setting up the next PPV feud. Have him only wrestle on PPV’s and he is immediately a much more interesting character.
How do you think WWE should book the Fiend? Let us know in the comments.
