The latest episode of WWE Main event has now aired featuring the debuts of NXT Champion Karrion Kross and NA Champion Bronson Reed.
Considering the debuts were a bigger deal than most Main Event episodes, the news did get a lot of attention ahead of time, but the show’s now aired so the results aren’t really “spoilers” anymore.
With that said, the opening match of the show saw Reed pick up the win over Drew Gulak.
Gulak has been a regular on Main Event this year but this was Reed’s first appearance on the main roster.
The bigger news was Kross’ win over Shelton Benjamin, but less the match itself, and more the fact that Scarlett wasn’t there with him at ringside.
It was reported earlier this week that WWE is planning to have Scarlett in her own tryout match before SmackDown this coming Friday.
It remains to be seen whether WWE is actually planning to separate them, but given that she wasn’t ringside for Kross’ match, it definitely looks like it’s something that’s being considered.
They were still together on NXT TV this past Tuesday.
Kross and Reed had both also worked matches at last Friday’s SmackDown tapings against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode respectively.
