Returning WWE Star Says It’s An Honor To Be Placed In Big Spot WWE

A returning WWE star says it’s an honor to have a new role with the company.

On the November 7 edition of Raw, Mia Yim made her WWE return to align with The O.C. to solve their Rhea Ripley problem with The Judgment Day.

Yim spent several years with the promotion after making her debut in the Mae Young Classic in 2017.

After a failed main roster call up as a member of Retribution in 2020, Mia was released from the company in November 2021.

Speaking with Bleav in Pro Wrestling‘s Rick Ucchino for Cageside Seats, the former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion discussed her alliance with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

In regards to her relationship with The O.C., Yim said:

“I just wanted to be me. I just wanted to come back and showcase what I’ve been doing for over a decade. And with The OC, we’ve never been close before, but we’ve always known each other.”

“We’ve worked with each other in other companies. I was rooting for AJ in his UpUpDownDown Championship battle with [Tyler] Breeze.”

Mia Yim noted how it was an honor to join The O.C. and the history behind The Bullet Club, saying:

“Like, we have history. The OC, The Bullet Club, those are like monumental groups in wrestling. So to be a part of The OC, it’s such an honor, like just to be a part of that group.”

“But the boys are so cool and so welcoming and they really do feel like brothers and I love them to pieces.”

“This was probably the best way for me to come back because, as nervous as I was, being with them kept me calm, cool, and collected. Like, it really helps being with them.”

Mia Yim will team with Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and a mystery partner to face Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley in the Women’s War Games match at this Saturday’s Survivor Series War Games event.
