Rey Fenix has commented as he continues to make headlines with regards to his current AEW contract status.
Reports from various outlets have indicated that the Lucha Bros – Rey Fenix and his brother Penta El Zero Miedo – are heading out of AEW and there’s big speculation of them joining WWE, but there have been hurdles along the way.
Notably, AEW added injury time to their contracts, which is affecting Fenix in a major way.
Penta is expected to exit AEW this week, but due to the injury time added to Fenix’s deal, Fenix will reportedly have to wait until way into 2025 until he can do the same.
Fenix has posted a new video on social media with some comments, saying:
“There are many things that are not known, but that also should not be talked about. We must wait. Professionalism first and foremost, folks.
“We must not be the same as all those podcasts that go around spitting out what should not be spit out. Never diminish our work.
“There are things that should always be respected, and many are forgetting everything that wrestling has given them.”
We’ll continue to provide updates on the Lucha Bros as they emerge.
