Rey Fenix has confirmed that he will be at this month’s Lucha Libre AAA TripleMania XXX event.
Fenix was previously scheduled to team with Hijo Del Vikingo to take on The Young Bucks during the show .
Stating that he will be in Monterray, Mexico on April 30, Fenix said:
“Hello friends, here is the MexaKing Fenix, one half of the best tag team in the world, the Lucha Brothers. Don’t miss Triplemania 30, Part 1, in Monterrey. I, the MexaKing will be present. Don’t you dare miss it. Animo!”
Fenix hasn’t wrestled since suffering a dislocated elbow during the Lucha Bros vs Jurassic Express AEW World Championship match on the January 5 edition of Dynamite, after a rough landing from a chokeslam through a table at ringside.
It is currently unknown when Fenix will return to an AEW ring.
