Rey Fenix Reacts To Penta Losing WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

WWE star Rey Fenix has reacted to his brother Penta unsuccessfully challenging for Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Championship.

With Penta and Mysterio facing off with the gold on the line on the October 13 Raw episode, there had been some speculation about the masked luchador potentially leaving Australia with the Intercontinental Title.

This ultimately didn’t happen, with Dominik Mysterio retaining his championship following interference from Rusev.

Rey Fenix has now taken to Twitter to let his thoughts about the situation be known.

Reacting to a WWE graphic announcing that Dominik Mysterio is still the champion, Fenix commented:

This has fuelled fan speculation about a potential Lucha Brothers reunion, with Fenix and Penta yet to reunite in WWE.

Penta recently commented on the duo’s potential reunion, noting that while he doesn’t know when or how they will come together in WWE, he anticipates the return of the Lucha Brothers.

Fenix was last in action during the October 10 WWE Main Event taping, facing Grayson Waller in Waller’s home-country of Australia.

Rey Fenix’s most recent SmackDown match saw him and Je’Von Evans defeat Angel & Berto on the October 3 episode.
