Rey Mysterio has dedicated the beating he will give his son Dominik Mysterio “to all those dads putting up with their kids.”
At WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio will go one-on-one with his son Dominik Mysterio in a match that has been months in the making.
Dom pushed his father too far after disrespecting his mother Angie on the March 24 episode of SmackDown, resulting in Rey finally fighting back, punching Dominik and accepting his challenge for WrestleMania.
Appearing on The Jason Show, Rey delivered a final message to Dominik ahead of their WrestleMania showdown. He stated:
“The beating that I give my son is dedicated to all those fathers that are putting up with their kids like I am.”
Along with his match at the Showcase of the Immortals, Rey will also be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend.
The bout between Rey and Dominik Mysterio will take place on WrestleMania 39 Night 1 this Saturday, April 1. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
