WWE is reporting that Rey Mysterio suffered an ankle injury in his match on Raw with Baron Corbin last night, and subsequently will be unable to compete on Smackdown Live against Andrade tonight, in what promised to be a classic.

It has been confirmed that Rey’s injury will keep him out of competition tonight, but it remains to be seen if it will rule him out of his match at WrestleMania 35. Rey Mysterio was set to go one-on-one with Samoa Joe, with Joe’s United States Championship on the line. WWE say he will be re-evaluated closer to the time.
So first Baron Corbin robbed Kurt Angle of a decent retirement match, and now he’s robbing Mysterio of a championship match on the “grandest stage of them all”… Who’s the next victim for the former GM of Raw?
