Well, the WWE TLC card gets even longer, as it has just been confirmed via Twitter that the ‘Viper’ Randy Orton will take on the luchadore legend Rey Mysterio in a Chairs match at the event.
Ever since Mysterio won their World Cup first round match at Crown Jewel via a rollup, Orton has made it his mission on SmackDown to viciously assault Rey at every given opportunity.
Two weeks ago, Orton picked up the win when the two clashed in the main event, and unmasked Rey to close out the show in an ultimate show of disrespect to Rey’s roots.
When the ‘Master of the 619’ tried to avenge this last week, Orton once again went into beatdown mode, using a chair to target Mysterio’s throat, which makes it apropos that Sunday’s match is indeed a Chairs match.
