Wrestling Standard is reporting that former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio has re-signed with the company after leaving the promotion in 2015.
The report notes that Mysterio’s contract begins on August 1, and Mysterio could make his on-screen return just after SummerSlam.
According to the source, the deal was completed when Raw was in San Diego 10 days ago, and Mysterio met up with officials to put pen to paper.
This news comes shortly after the luchador was announced as a pre-order bonus for WWE 2K19.
Mysterio has already appeared twice for WWE in 2018, entering both the Royal Rumble and Greatest Royal Rumble matches.
