Rhea Ripley has discussed her relationship with Vince McMahon, revealing what advice the WWE Chairman has offered her.
Ripley has had a great 2021 so far. The current Raw Women’s Champion has revealed that Vince McMahon is a big fan of her work.
Speaking with Graham Matthews of Bleacher Report, Ripley stated that McMahon likes her aggression within the ring. Noting that McMahon asked her to smile more, Ripley said:
“He’s (Vince McMahon) sort of been pretty happy with what I’ve been doing. He likes my aggression, which is something that comes to me pretty easily which I’m sort of thankful for. But one thing he says is to try to smile more, which is something I’m still trying to learn.”
Ripley won the Raw Women’s Title from Asuka at WrestleMania 37. At Money in the Bank on July 18, Ripley defends her gold against Charlotte Flair.
Former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will reportedly be in the arena for this weekend’s pay-per-view.
