Rhea Ripley Apologises For Homophobic Slur Video

Where to even start with this one . . .

Last night, Rhea Ripley was taking part in a live stream, the idea of which was that fans could tip $15 to be insulted in Spanish or Australian. Because, why not, I guess?

Ripley took the gimmick to the next level, delivering the following line to the collective shock of the people she was streaming with:

“You know you’re a f*****g c**thead, you stupid motherf*****g f****t. F**k you”

You can see the clip of the video below but please be warned there is strong language contained within:

Cue the sound of WWE officials clenching their teeth somewhere in Stamford. That sort of language is the absolute last thing WWE wants bandied around when it has such a PR-conscious mindset.

Ripley should have known better and when the s**t hit the fan she was quick to post an apology, using her real name so that everyone knew she was serious:

WWE has not yet commented on the incident nor are we aware of any punishment levelled towards Ripley or whether there will be any.
