A current WWE star has said that Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair want to have a match with a Hall of Famer.
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix officially left WWE back in July 2024, when her contract expired with the company, making her a free agent.
Since her departure, Beth has not signed anywhere else, and though she has also yet to make another appearance for WWE, a number of top stars in the company are hoping for a match with her.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE star Natalya was asked if she were to have a retirement match, who she would want it to be against.
Natalya noted that she’d want to face Beth Phoenix, while also noting that Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair also all want matches against Beth.
She said:
“If I had one last match and I could do anything and be free creatively, it would be Nattie vs. Beth Phoenix. Beth and I never really got to do a rivalry, we never had a story, imagine like an actual storyline with us. I look at Beth and she is in the best shape of her life, and I look at her, just like a friend, she’s my closest friend in the industry, I love her, but I also know she’s such a student of the game.
“She’s been so careful about just, you know, very particular about coming back and not wearing out her welcome, and I really love that about her because, I know Rhea Ripley wants to have a match against Beth Phoenix, I know Becky Lynch wants to have a match with Beth Phoenix, I know, Bianca Belair wants to have a match with Beth Phoenix, and it’s like, listen girls, get in line, because the next time Beth Phoenix returns to wrestling, I want to be the first one to wrestle her.”
Natalya is set to be a part of the Battle Royal at this Sunday’s WWE Evolution event, with the winner earning a world championship shot at Clash in Paris.
She also recently formed the new ‘Dungeon Dolls’ tag team with Maxxine Dupri on Raw.
