Rhea Ripley Blasts ‘Fans’ For Abusing Wrestlers On Social Media WWE

WWE SmackDown star Shotzi removed herself from Twitter over the weekend due to receiving calls to lose her job and even death threats following some botches she made in the Money in the Bank Ladder match.

It shouldn’t need saying that you shouldn’t abuse wrestlers on social media, especially if you are hiding behind a picture of someone else as your own avatar, but here we are again, not a day later.

Raw star Rhea Ripley took to Twitter to blast a ‘fan’ who claimed that she ‘deserved’ to be abused, writing:

Hi, Demi here…. Ya know, the real life human inside Rhea Ripley. Just wanted to point out that WRESTLERS & any form of ENTERTAINER is a real life human off screen. Don’t wish harm on ANYONE. Don’t wish for anyone to be BURIED. Don’t wish for anyone to be FIRED. F’N disgrace.

Shotzi has since provided an update on her Twitter disappearance on Instagram, noting that she is okay and is just taking a step back from the platform for a while.

Ripley is currently one of many WWE stars sidelined with an injury. For a complete list of all currently injured WWE stars, click here.
