Rhea Ripley Fires Another Shot At Being Pulled From WWE SummerSlam 2023

Rhea Ripley Fires Another Shot At Being Pulled From WWE SummerSlam 2023 WWE

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has now fired another shot at being pulled from SummerSlam 2023.

While Ripley is one of the biggest stars in WWE’s women’s division, and holds a world title, the Nightmare is currently set to miss Saturday’s (August 5) show.

Despite this, Ripley is still fulfilling media obligations ahead of this weekend’s event.

Ripley has now taken to social media with a photo of herself.

Shedding light on her feelings about the situation, she captioned the photo:

Ready for Sum… Media 🙂

You can view the post below.

Ripley was originally planned for a match against Raquel Rodriguez at SummerSlam, but it looks like it’s been postponed along with Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus due to time constraints.

WWE did leave it open that Ripley vs Rodriguez could be added at the last minute if Rodriguez is cleared from injury (in storyline) in time, but at the minute, it hasn’t been added.

As previously covered, Ripley had already liked a couple of tweets suggesting she agreed with fans who aren’t happy about WWE pulling two women’s matches from SummerSlam.

Ripley also reacted to her SummerSlam match getting pulled while promoting her interview about her ‘SummerSlam glam’.

Another report has indicated that there are growing frustrations within WWE about the booking of the women’s division, which you can read more about right here.
